Attorney John Balkus is licensed to practice before all New Hampshire and Massachusetts state courts. He is also licensed to practice before the US District Court, District of New  Hampshire.

John firmly believes that the constitution stands to protect everyone equally - regardless of education or wealth, and that the rights and protections granted by the constitution can only survive through their vigorous exercise.  If your life collides with the legal system, you need an advocate to protect your rights.

John earned his law degree from the Massachusetts School of Law at Andover and received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire at Durham where he dual-majored in Psychology and Philosophy and minored in Linguistics.

Before beginning his law career, John worked for the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services designing and maintaining public health related data systems.  He has also managed a technical support division for  a New Hampshire computer company, and has worked as an engineer in the oil and construction industries. 

John owns and manages rental property, giving him strong  insight into the legal and business issues facing landlords and tenants.
